I'm try to use "Custom" filter. I've added PDF to the first custom field under options.

But using custom filter doesn't change anything -- everything seems to display including mp3, exe, zip files, etc. Nothing gets filtered out.

Also the "include" and "exclude" terms not show on either of the custom set up fields.

The help file doesn't seem to provide any instruction on custom filters, tags, or categories.

This is vsn. 2.0.

Edit: Working at it. It appears that if you put in an Exclude extension, then it ALWAYS excludes -- even if you filter by "Images". This makes the custom filter crazy tedious to use. I would expect that if I use filter Images then it would show all images no matter what the custom setting is. Same for the "Videos" and "Sounds" filter. The custom setting would only matter if I chose the "Custom" filter.

What do you want to do?

A custom filter to show only JPG's, for instance.

There's the problem. Instead of just clicking "Custom", I have to go and fiddle with the option settings. Kind of eliminates the point of a drop-down filter.
