Hi all,
in version 0.56 there is a problem at double clicking on an image in Explorer, the viewer doesn't show the
affected directory - it is always the same, even if i change the prefences
in v 0.53 it worked proerly
I added a short video here:

correct - it doesn't open the viewer in the "double clicked directory" nor the fullscreen display.
as mentioned in v0.53 when i double clicked a image it was opened in fullscreen
i tried to join the file extensions another time but it didn't help

i started with a empty .ini,
then xnview MP started in C:\Users\***\Pictures\
even if i double clicked on the file in a different directory ......

it seems that you have a problem in the association...

That's right:
The solution was:
To unregister all assosiation with "Associate files with XnViewMP.exe"
If i associated with this exe, the same matter occured
But if i registered via Windows then it worked (i did with jpg)
and then if i try the "Associate files with XnViewMP.exe" again, look

the jpg checkbox is deactivated
so i think i have to associate all extensions step by step...
