How Do I Backup XnViewMP?

I downloaded the update. I noticed on the site it said to backup the program before installing the new version. How do I do that?
I backed up the shell extension via right-click on an image > Options in the context menu > Backup all settings. Is this enough or do I have to backup the other part? I don't see how to do that.

In About dialog, you have the folder used to store all datas used by XnViewMP

Thanks. I copied the contents, made a backup folder, and placed it in another location along with the shell extension backup.

Hi all,
When you install the XnViewMP, you can choose the location for db and some other files.
One of the options is a "User" folder, the other is a "Program" folder.
I have chosen the "Prg" folder, and yet - the MP stores the files in the "User" folder?
Is it my PC or does anyone else have the same problem?
I choose the Prg folder as I have only one Windows user active, so I don't see the point of having anything in "User" folder, except to accidentally forget to back-up something... When the PC is used by multiple users - that is another story.
