XnView Software

I scanned some documents with 200x200 dpi black & white and saved in pdf format. When I open it in xnview it looks pretty poor and also if I print it via xnview the result is unsatisfying. If I open same file in Adobe Reader it looks much better and the printout ist also better. Are there any settings to improve quality within xnview?

The default Ghostcript resolution is 72 DPI so you need to increase that to 200 DPI or whatever value you wish to use:

Tools > Options... Read/Write -- Read -- EPS/PS/AI/PDF -- DPI :
