Error when converting to jpeg from right click menu

hi there
i use xnviewmp 0.64 unter windows 8.1x64
when i do this
https://www.dropbox.com/s/7l7xtektgxwx5 ... .54.36.png - and you see my image on the right preview pane
i get this :
https://www.dropbox.com/s/yd6ebvmhltc8d ... 3-89_1.bmp
and i really can't understand why. If i go from the batch convert or export menu, it works ok, no problems there with standard settings.
Why the right click menu, "convert to jpeg" produces this? and leaves the .bmp extension? is there any way for me to fix it?
