Filter dialog boxes too small

In MP's filters,

There are:
Enhance detail
Enhance Focus
Focus Restoration
But they don't have any way to modify the intensity - and I wish they did!

This is Enhance Edges. What does the little ticker button do? It looks like the handle for a slider control, but it doesn't slide. If I fiddle with it a bunch, it will finally reset the value (but that is what the other little button is for - reset):

Please drag one of the corners of the dialog to increase the size of the window.

XnTriq,

Well at first I didn't understand why you would say that, because the window is PLENTY large enough to accomodate a slider bar:
room enough for a slider bar
room enough for a slider bar

I mean, I saw all that space in the top and the bottom of the Parameters area, and my brain said, "enough space! - and in the default window size for the dialogue"

Then I got to thinking about that.
And I realized that the slider bar actually does appear if you stretch the window horizontally.

In conclusion to all that, I reckon that I should have guessed that.
I wonder if the default dialogue shouldn't be wider in order to suggest that that really is a slider bar (I did recognize the handle as belonging to a slider control - but I am a programmer...)
or, perhaps the slider bar could go beneath the textbox with the up-down control to take advantage of all the vertical space without requiring a larger dialogue.
I dunno - just some thoughts here on intuitiveness.

Hi, Br. Gabriel-Marie (-:

Yes, I absolutely agree and decided to move this topic to bug reports.

Two issues here. Both needs implementation.

Problem no longer occurs in 0.84 and later: Default size of filter box has been adjusted.

Textbox is still right to the slider but I think that doesn't matter.
