[v2.24] Can't view picture when inside an archive

I have rar and 7z archives with pictures in them. When I press <enter> or double click an archive, XnView goes into the archive and shows thumbnails for the pictures.
But, when I now press <enter> or double click on a picture, it doesn't show me the picture. Also, pressing <F11> to show the picture full screen doesn't work.
The only thing that does work is choosing 'Open' in the right click popup menu.
Please fix.

I don't know. I never tried. I used to always unpack archives and then view them (with FSViewer). But, that viewer doesn't support archives so I came to XnView.
That's when I discovered it didn't work.
Do you want me to try older versions? Where can I find older versions?

Do you have unrar & unace in Addon folder?

Hmmm... I see the 7z.dll is from 2006?!? Surely that should be newer. Maybe that's the problem?

Sure, I attached an example. Every archive fails for me. (the pics are really small because attachment have a ridiculous 1MB limit).

I don't have Rar, I use 7z. The Rar files were from my work with classified design images, so I can't give them to you.
Do the 7z archives work for you?

This has still not been fixed in v2.31.
Is there any news on this bug? Is it so much harder to fix than expected?
