No.
I want to get through your converter (prefer to use ready-made products).

I wholeheartedly support the wish for XnView to implement BPG support (at least for decoding). I do not mean XnConvert specifically, though, I'd rather be using XnView to view them; I can create them on my own. The sources are available at the link posted above or one can use the libbpg library.

Apparently continued in t=171505, also mentioning XnView  The example images are shown with Bellard's JavaScript, so you should be able to find links for the BPG sources in the HTML source (untested).

  1. Download susie.zip and (the latest version of) ifBPG-*.zip.
  2. Extract the contents of both archives to the Plugins subdirectory of your XnView installation.
  3. Restart XnView.

xnview,
Could the console window perhaps be suppressed / hidden? It looks really bad, covering the current image while the BPG image is being loaded.
Thanks!

Don't! It's a new and radical format with a lot to improve every month and every year. There will be periodic updates so waiting for the final version is unwise. I'd recommend to just upgrade to full newest version with both read and write support.

Also, I think WebP should be periodically updated too. Ability to set advanced parameters would be great too ;-) I know there are so many parameters, that You won't bother to implement every one of 'em, but what about an "input box" to write Your own advanced parameters for the encoder? That would be awesome! ;)

We'll need a 64-bit build once 0.75 proper comes out, unless this isn't going to be supported on 64-bit.
