XnView Software

When I start the program in Windows 10, I get large icons instead of thumbnails. If I refresh view or change folder thumbnails are back. It worked fine under Windows 7.

Pentium G3220
ASUS H81-M
Intel HD graphics
Windows 10 32bit

Lets say it happens in 90% of cases. Somethimes thumbnails on folders are shown but thumbnails on files are not.
I tried new drivers without effect.
I tried different thumbnail compression but no change.
Windows 10 are fresh install.

do you have same issue with 0.75beta?

Just tried fresh install of Windows 10 and 0.75 beta. No change. The first time I start the program it is OK, but when I start changing options, thumbnails are gone.
Dont know which options, I did not try them one by one.
I wish there was a reset to default option.

Could you post a short sequence of actions that consistently produce the issue for Pierre to test?

Presumably there isn't, but you could possibly post that as a suggestion...

I dont have the sequence, and I am really not in a mood for another reinstall. I give you screenshots of my settings and preffered program view. As soon as I refresh view (F5) or change folder, thumbnails are back and everything is fine.
Don't be confused by Croatian Windows. I currently use ACDSee as a replacement but would really like to go back to XnView.
