moin,
in browser mode, the user can rotate a pic via the context menu or the shortcuts.
when viewing a pic (fullscreen in my case) not.
i suggest to let the user rotate a pic in every viewing mode, as a new feature :-)

Right: JPEG Lossless transformations directory should be available while viewing.
I believe that 'Edit IPTC data', 'Set as wallpaper', 'Print' and 'Describe' should also be available.

From my point of view, only the most important functions should be available in the context menu. I agree with 'Print' and 'Describe'. Are 'Edit IPTC data' and 'Set as wallpaper' also used often?

Agreed:
=> Yes for 'Edit IPTC Data', as one could/should view images one after the other in order to add specific IPTC words based on the content of the image.
Personally, I don't care that much about: 'Describe' and 'Set as wallpaper'...

from my point of view, the user himself should be able to set the context-menu as he like to have it.
ofcourse, a default set (which we try to discuss here?) after installing xnview, but if the user likes to have a common or an extravagant context-menu he should be able to manage it via a special menu "arrange the X-menu" or something like that.
i, personally, need all picture options/function like rotate/flip/rename/etc in the context menu without a sub-menu, which is the case on "jpeg loseless tansformations" (which leads into an extra *click*, which takes extra time)

this was postet before quite a while,
and i'm still in need for this little feature a lot of times and always have to switch from view-mode the browser-mode, if i want to rotate a picture quickly. so there is no "quickly" :-)
any chance to implement this? or let the user choose its own right-click menu-entries?
maybe additional to the default-entries?
config:
show additional menu-entries:
[x] looseless JPEG-rotation
[ ] set as wallpaper
[ ] print
[ ] ....
Menus as text---
