Hello:
I do not know if my problem is because I have both Xnview and XnviewMP installed. and I have had no problems adding text in Xnview before (when I had *only* Xnview installed).
Now, in Xnview, I click Tools > Add text, add the text, set the font, and click OK. Nothing!!!
What might be wrong?
Thanks/Hans L

Did you mean you click Tools->Add text in XnView MP? In XnView (Classic) you have to click Image->Add text, and it works fine.

Sorry, I meant Image > Add text in Xnview (there is no Add text in XnviewMP, unfortunately).
And it does not work for me in Xnview.

What happens if you press Shift+T in view mode?

No problem for me using the menu or the above keyboard shortcut, XnView Classic 2.36 x32 ZIP on Windows 7 SP1 x64.
Could it be that the selected font size is too small in relation to the pixel dimensions of the image, I suspect that could be the problem, or possibly that the selected text colour doesn't display clearly?
When you click on
OK do you see the white pointer indicating where the text will be placed?

Yes, there is something white after I clicked OK and move the cursor to where I want to put the text. I have set font to Ariel 20 p, and color Red, but still, nothing. I will try again.
