XnView Software

I'm browsing my folders and opening an image. I can browse through them, but when I try to close a tab, XnViewMP instantly crashes. The version is 0.81.

and if you open an image, and quit, always a crash?

Yes. It doesn't even matter if I open an image, it crashes when I close the main gallery tab as well (without opening any images).

In the folder do you have only image files? JPEG?

I just tried a folder that has nothing but a single jpg in it, not even hidden files. It still crashes.

could you try the 0.82?

The issue persists with 0.82.

Is there something like strace for mac that I could do to give you more insight?

could you try to rename ~/.xnviewmp/xnview.ini?

Uh... not anymore, sorry. I'll see if I can recreate the problem and send it to you when I manage to.

Managed to break it again. Here's the ini: https://ptpb.pw/Ac36

For the sake of privacy, I removed the paths in "history", "pathbrowser" and "recentfiles". The crash is still reproducible without them.

with this xnview.ini, you go to a folder (with XnView) with only a jpeg file, open it, and close the tab by clicking on X icon, and crash?

That is correct.

I can't reproduce, same thing with a png file?
