Show Categories under thumbnail

Is there any way to do this? I tried putting {Categories} in the custom field of the thumbnail labels options but to no avail.

Could you please give IPTC: Keywords and/or IPTC: Categories (Tools » Settings... » Thumbnail » Labels) a try?

Are the keywords and categories embedded in the IPTC metadata of your files (see samples @
iptc.org &
embeddedmetadata.org)?

Ok, I´ve tested it with the samples and the ITPC keywords are shown. However I have videos categorized using the xnview DB too.

It seems as if the metadata has to be written to the files (Tools » Settings... » Metadata » IPTC & XMP » Keywords » Export DB Category to XMP Subject and IPTC Keyword) for the labels {IPTC:Keywords} + {IPTC:Category} to work.
@Pierre: Can you confirm this?
