XnView Software

I have had XnView almost a year and recently got an error every time i went to use it . "file can't be loaded " The first time i disconnected all my external drives which fixed it . But now for no reason it gives me this error every time now. So essentially i no can no longer use the program. Am i the only one ? cannot find the answer anywhere on the internet. And i only found one other person with the problem but there was only one reply which did not solve the problem.
I have a Mac mini running the latest software which i installed recently but it worked fine until now. I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it but nothing.
Please help there is no better program out there.

Thanks for your request, mindscape8088. Do you use XnView Classic (Windows) or XnView MP?

If I understand right, the problem occurs whenever you start XnView. And then XnView exits right away, correct?
