Xnview crashes every time I try to custom rotate a file. As soon as I try to rotate - crash. I'm on a brand new XP box and the latest xnView. Any ideas?

Strange, do you use the JPEG lossless rotation? In view or in the browser?
Pierre.

Pierre,

After some more experimentation, it appears the problem only occurs on Group IV Tiff files. I get the rotate dialog, change it to an arbitrary setting, click OK, and the crash occurs. The exact tif is located at:

thanks,

Greg, with the image supplied via your link the problem can be reproduced easily. I have used a Windows 98 First Edition box to reproduce, so this is not just a problem of Windows XP. :bugconfirmed:

Moved to "Closed" Thank you for retesting, marsh. There might be some chaos, but I hope it won't too bad. We still have the "Date posted" which gives an indication which XnView has been used.
