I did search the manual, forum and Google but could not find a clear answer to my questions so I post them here:

- How can I do noise reduction (denoise) with XnViewMP on Mac?
- Does XnViewMP on Mac support plugins?
- Are there denoise plugins that work with XnViewMP?

If you haven't done so already, could you check whether the Image > Filters... filters, which include a filter for noise reduction, work on a Mac?

Otherwise, there is the possibility of using Adobe Photoshop plug-ins in the same menu.

thank you @cday for the hint. I will try the filter tonight when I get home, cannot do it now at work.

There is no menu item for Adobe Photoshop plugins in the menu; actually I saw that in some screenshot and was looking exactly for it before I posted my question. So I thought perhaps it's not supported for XnViewMP on Mac.

I've checked and Adobe 8BF plug-ins seem to be only designed for Windows...

I have tried the denoise filter on a few photos but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Do you have an image you could upload that Pierre could use to easily check operation of the filter on a Mac?
