XnViewMP 0.90 on Manjaro

I have 281 directories to import: 50 000 images. They all "hang" from a second drive and are below: /drive-b/photos

What's a good way of importing the 281 directories in XV?

I'd rather not have to click on every single directory.

Thanks

Syv

before beginning
-check the first "import" option in tools, settings, metadata
-create at least one category

I know two methods, I would like Pierre tell us which is the best one

1 : In folder pane, right click on the parent folder, choose "display all files recursive" . Select all (Ctrl a), click "update catalog from files" in "View" menu
2: Other way, Tools, settings, catalog : use "Add files folders" button

No, but I now have 283 (up from 281) folders and I don't want to do them one by one.

After the first time, I don't want to have to remember which new folder I created or if I added some photos to existing folders
Thanks
