XnView software uses Ghostscript to rasterise PDFs, and I thought the thread I linked to indicated that Ghostscript should be able to display images with transparency, so I'm not sure what the problem can be, presumably you can view images without transparency correctly on Mac HS using XnView MP?Mr-Black wrote: Sat Aug 10, 2019 6:36 pm Thanks for that info, I had the latest Ghostscript 9.27 installed with home-brew and symlinked. I know Adobe Acrobat Pro can show transparency but I'm not a fan of Adobe. It's actually quite difficult to find an app that can show a PDF as it is with transparency. I can open the PDF in Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer and it will show the transparency but that's what I created the PDF in so it's a bit of a given.
Would be interesting to compile a list of apps that can display PDF transparency.
