Thats works only at the selected pictures! Must i first select all my nearly 70000 pictures then rebuild? Is there no easier way to rebuild all thumbnails?

That doesn't work! Do I have to delete the thumbnails first?

no this did not renew all thumbnails. After several hours, this image appeared (see screenshot). As I also have problems with the keywords (see my post: viewtopic.php?p=166832#p166832 ) I wanted to delete my xnview.db and recreate it. Is there a simple method to delete the thumbnails completely and recreate them? Maybe also renew xnview.db and thumb.db all in one step?

Strange, how many folders do you have in catalog?
you would like to restart with a clean catalog?

about 260 but most of them as subfolders of the main images folder. Is there an easy way to rebuild the system?
Can I rebuild / delete the very large thumb.db?
I am almost sure my keywords are all stored in the images.

you can move or rename the thumb.db, it will be re-created when you browse your folders

Using 0.98.2 64bits on Linux, I see frequently wrong thumbails for .pdf & .rar files (thumbails are from pictures in the same directory).
Am I the only one ?
I'm attaching a picture with 3 wrong thumbnails - 3 pdf files.
Thumbails are thumbnails for pictures in the same directory.
For other rar or files there are no thumbnails - I guess this should be the correct behavior.
I solved the issue by removing XnView.db
