The comment of a jpeg is not displayed in browser mode (affected views: details, thumbnails & details).
BTW: I can't add comments/description at options->browser->thumbnail->labels. Is there any reason/is it intended like that?

Edit: Sorry, I misunderstood problem. Now I can confirm.

Often comment or description are long, so too long for the label. Is it needed??

It's possible to use IPTC.Caption and this field is for the same purpose (isn't it?). Right now, you simply cut the text if it's too long. Perhaps you better use ellipses (...), so the user knows, that the text is cut.

b2, deleted .ini
Now there are 2 items for EXIF: Comment (last and 6th from the end) after adding them to displayed labels, after reopening Options dialog EXIF: Comment ist still avaliable in the left list.
I added Comment (not Description) to JPEG file with no EXIF. Now the comment is displayed in status bar, but there is no EXIF in image?!?
Status bar is not updated after changing Comment in browser.
Comment is still not displayed on label (also for image with proper EXIF).

b3, Comment can now be added as Label and is visible in Thumbnails&Details
Oh, BTW, I guess that THIS comment is written into header of JPG file.
Solved.
