Sorting files by extensions and the order of names

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it should be a feature request, but I'm trying to report it here.
I have doubts about sorting files (sort by extension).
I marked in red which files are concerned
Total Commander (in my opinion this is the correct order
)
XnViewMP (a little non logical ordering):
