A very useful feature would be the ability to pause GIFs.
Or/and option of moving GIF forward / backward

you have 'Start/stop animation'

OK nice. Is there any keyboard shortcut for this? Or Can I create a shortcut to this option?

It works, but still no pause option. After using Start / Stop, the GIF always starts over

No no. I mean pausing the GIF at any time while it is running

My case:
I often record/play GIFs from tutorials with lots of detail or to show the issue in ticket in github repositories
So I would like to pause the GIF at any time to check current content etc. and then play the rest

In other words: something like listening to a song or watching a movie - you want to pause for a moment and then play the rest

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.99.0. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
