Zoom in/out in preview (in browser) doesn't work, only with my old .ini file, it doesn't work also in 1.80.3, but it works good with the same .ini in 1.80.1.

I didn't find any option to enable/disable.

Pierre, I already sent my .ini to you, please check it out. Thanks.

In a previous thread, someone ask to remove scroll for wheel mouse if View/Keyboard/Mouse Wheel is used for no zoom!

When the mouse wheel is used to switch images in FS, then it's useless in the browser. Also LMB+wheel / RMB+wheel to zoom doesn't work in preview, at least this should work.

I think it should be used to zoom always, or option to choose between "zoom", "switch images", "scroll" and maybe "do nothing" should be added.

It was very useful option, not only for me, but I can't find old topic about it...

Helmut, you agreed to remove wheel in preview (if not in options/view/keybaord), what do you think?? Perhaps a request of claude

View and preview are related, so I'd expect the setting made for "View" to be applied to both image view and preview. Currently the behaviour differs, which is not good.

Not sure whether there is a need for different settings for image view and preview, I think only users can answer this.

In first instance I'd vote for same behaviour for both image view and preview as set the option.

:) Hello Pierre !

- Yes, I remember very well : it was related to this bug in the preview.
- And I'm quite happy to have the wheel disabled there now, while it is not configured for zooming !

 Kind regards,
Claude
Clo

Good that you have found the original topic, Clo.

And as I can see my mind hasn't changed, a quote from that thread:
"I think the one and only solution here is to make mouse wheel in Preview and View mode behave the same. If the user sets "Previous/Next" file for mouse wheel in View mode, he/she should have this behaviour for the preview, too."

Yes, but it doesn't work like that! Mouse wheel is completely useless there.

So again, at least LMB+wheel / RMB+wheel to zoom should be enabled in Preview.

And - why there shouldn't be any option for a mouse wheel in preview when it's used to switch images in FS?

Thanks. What exactly, just LMB/RMB+wheel? I think, zoom for a mouse wheel, as option or always would be very useful and it's probably also very easy to implement, since it was already there.

LMB/RMB+wheel have been added in beta 2.

But - mouse wheel is still useless in preview. If new option is not easy to implement, it should work at least same as in FS = switch images, it could be useful for some users and it should be easy to change.

1st remark- move View>Keyboard/Mouse to General>Keyboard/Mouse, as it affects both Browser and Viewer AND it should be close to Switching modes, that also defines behaviour for keyboard and mouse. (Actually if they had fit, they should have been put on the same page.)

Behaviour for Preview/View should be identical. If an action cannot be performed in current context (like Selection in Preview) it should be ignored.

File list in Browser should follow standard Windows behaviour for such control.

X.

Still no change...
