When using the draw tool it is possible to draw a shape on the screen that extends outside the image canvas:


When the above image is saved, only two horizontal lines extending across the width of the canvas are added to the image.

you would like that drawing will be clipping by image rectangle?

My thinking was that when drawing a shape, it shouldn't be possible to move the mouse cursor outside the edges of the image canvas being annotated, if that can be implemented?

So the rectangle tool, for example, would always draw a rectangle.
