XnView: MP 1.0 64 bit
OS: Windows 10 64 bit

Not sure whether this is a bug or intended behaviour, but XnView shows the wrong image on preview panel, whenever I switch from Viewer mode to Browser mode.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open XnView in Browser mode.

2. Double click on a image, to open it in Viewer mode.




3. Press right arrow on your keyboard to display the next file image. Then click the Browse button to go back to Browser mode.




4. On the Browser mode, you can see that the preview panel is showing the wrong image.




Actual behaviour (bug): After moving to the next file image in Viewer mode, then going back to Browser mode, the preview panel still shows the previous file image, not the correct one.

Expected behaviour: Preview panel should display the correct image, the current one.

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.01. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

I just installed 1.01, now the preview panel doesn't show anything. It's totally empty.

i have no more the problem here, always an empty preview?

I've found the problem. Turns out I have to enable 2 options: Panels - Preview and Info panels - Preview.
I'm not sure what happened, I didn't change any settings before and after installation.

The bug is fixed in 1.01. Thank you.
