High Zoom quality - what's the difference?

I can't see any differences on my TFT when using high quality zoom, except that high quality zoom is much slower.

Do other users see any differences in this option?

Yes, especially "reduce", but only in Viewer / Fulscreen from Viewer, for Fullscreen from Browser, there is another option "Delayed HQ...", but HQ is always enabled there I think...

The High quality thumbnails are rendered using a high quality resize algorithm (Lanczos, perhaps). If you set this option, make sure you clean the cache - thumbnails which are in the cache already, won't be recreated and you won't see any difference.

I don't mean the HQ thumbnail option

I mean the HQ Zoom Quality option in View

If the zoom has an odd ratio like 1:1.333333 you will get jagged edges and pixelated details. HQ will smooth those down.
