Unnecessary and unintended differences (compared to XnView Classic)

XnView MP 1.0 is out and there are still quite a number of differences between XnView MP and XnView Classic. From my point of view, XnView MP and XnView Classic are supposed to be twins and look and feel as similar as possible. Some differences are necessary and good improvements and cannot be undone. But there's still potential for changes to make XnView Classic and XnView MP more alike. Some examples for unintended and unnecessary differences:
• Different order of menu items
• Different shortcuts
• Different labels/translation
Please feel encouraged to post here if you find a difference that you think is unnecessary and unintended and can be changed with little effort. Missing features are discussed and can be reported in topic List of missing features (compared to XnView Classic)

List of unnecessary differences (compared to XnView Classic): XnView MP 1.00 Last update: 07 August 2022

Reported / Open
• Order of menu items "Selection ratio" and "Selection size" (see Helmut's post)
• Shortcut in XnView Classic and XnView MP differs. (see Helmut's post)

Order of menu items "Selection ratio" and "Selection size"

XnView Classic:
Edit >
...
Set Selection ratio
Set Selection size
...

XnView MP:
Edit >
...
Set Selection size
Set Selection ratio
...

Suggestion:
Order of menu items "Set selection size" and "Set selection ratio" should be swapped in XnView MP.

Shortcut in XnView Classic and XnView MP differs.

Edit > Selection - Swap width & height:
XnView Classic: "Tab" key
XnView MP: "W" key

Perhaps there is a good reason why shortcut has been changed - if not this should be corrected to "Tab" key in XnView MP.

MP toolbar & infobar waste more vertical space than Classic

I'd argue that the toolbars should be as slim as possible to show as much as you can of teh picture and avoid unnecessary scaling.
No matter how good the scaling algorithm, a picture always looks best at 100% zoom level.

toolbar has same height as Classic, and you can configure small toolbar

For the side-by-side comparison I used the small symbols:
