Could you please add "remove alpha channel" to actions? This:


I wanted to batch remove the alpha channel from .TGA files, like doing "-alpha off" using imagemagick.

Edit: Or a secondary, only remove "single color alpha channel" feature! (not sure if that could be detected)

I am not very knowledgeable on alpha, but you might check if you haven't already done so whether any of the options in available this action provide the functionality that you need:

I need this action too, and I want to using it on 23,875 files in 1,729 folders, and "Change color depth- 24bits" can't do that, I put a file here maybe you can try it.
Orignal File: Remove alpha channel Change color depth- 24bits

dedicated action would be handy, meanwhile:
1. remove alpha channel
2. (optional) convert 32 to 24 bit

but this is not the same as "Remove alpha channel", not sure how it works at all
since it doesn't affect the OP and a few of my test files.

nope. Try it on OP's file

right not the same. See issue for current status and some details.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.6.5. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
