Hello,

The addition of "Move" option in the "Import and sort" dialog is greatly appreciated !

After having used this feature without problems for some time, I get an error every time I use it now (regression with a recent update ?) when move option is activated....
Source doesn't exist ??? Obviously, source file exists and was found by the software some instant before.

I use to import jpg+RAW. This issue won't happen if I import jpeg without raw associated on the memory card.... I strongly suspect this issue to be related to companion files handling.

I also have this problem when importing jpgs and raw files together. It seems to have been introduced at version 1.4.1 as 1.4.0 works OK. Have now downgraded to 1.4.0 to get round the problem, but obviously this is not ideal!!

Other than that, great app, really like it.

Yes, that's the problem. I routinely import .jpg and .nef files from my Nikon camera. With versions 1.4.1 and 1.4.2, I get the following error
If I just import .jpg or .nef files on their own, it works OK. Also, if I downgrade to version 1.4.0, it works OK, so there must be some change between 1.4.0 and 1.4.1 that has introduced the problem.

Further info - I've been experimenting, and I've found out that, if the .jpg and .nef pairs both have the same first name part, then it fails. If they have different names, it works OK. As an example, importing the following fails.

File1.jpg, File1.nef

but this works OK

File1.jpg, File2.nef

I've found that if I delete EITHER OR BOTH of the companion file lines with jpg in them, it works OK with 1.4.3. So deleting either or both of the lines

jpg exf

{raw} jpg

makes the import work OK. Now I'm not sure of the consequences of doing this, I leave that up to you to determine!!!!!

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.4.4. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
