Hello Every1

2 things to be fixed PLEASE

1st

when i apply effects on batch convert, i want a window appear for telling me where i want to save the new image

Conclusion... when i apply effects on batch convert, the image is saved in the same folder with name Result, OR... select specific folder, it is NOT the way, when i apply effects on Batch Convert, when i finish, i click on Convert, AND... what i want, it´s a window appear to select where i want to save the image, that´s what i need please, that´s the way should be, please fix it Pierre

so please... i want a window appear for telling me where i want to save the new image... please fix that Pierre

and 2nd

when i crop an image and i want to apply effects on batch convert, it appears the default image and not appear the croped image

i hope you fix them soon please, i usually use those options often, and now i can´t use them because i gotta make a lot of steps and that´s not the way, very tedious, VERY VERY TEDIOUS

The output folder is editable in Output tab

and 2nd

it is not freely editable, the editable image is saved in the same main folder, or... you can add a specific folder to save the edited image, BUT THERE IS NO OPTION THAT WHEN I CLICK ON "CONVERT" A WINDOW WILL APPEAR TELLING ME WHERE I WANT TO SAVE THE EDITED IMAGE, and that is exactly what I want, for a window to appear telling me where I want to save the edited image, that option DOES NOT EXIST YET and it is VERY IMPORTANT TO ADD IT, please add it Pierre

When I'm viewing the image, and I want to make a crop to that image, I make the crop, then CTRL+U (to go to Batch Convert), then I go to the Actions tab and apply an effect, the effect is applied to the default image and it doesn't apply to the cropped image, that is a serious bug!

I always use those options, when i´m watching an image, i make a crop to that image, apply effects to cropped image and save the edited image freely where i want

BUT when I add effects to the cropped image, it doesn't apply the effect to the cropped image, it applies the effect to the default image insted, and when I want to save the image, there is no option to freely choose where I want to save the image

unfortunately none of that works in XnView MP

Please, we must fix those bugs Pierre, I really thank you from the bottom of my heart

Are you not able to apply the effects you use from the XnView MP edit menus, that would be the normal way of working? Then the image can be saved using the normal save menu.

If some effects that you need are not currently available in the edit menus, you can request that they be added.

the effects i need are only available in batch convert that's why i have to go to batch convert, but when i crop an image and i go to batch convert unfortunately it doesn't apply the effect to the cropped image instead, it applies the effect to the default image, I need ALL the effects that are in Batch Convert

And... when i want to save it freely, I CAN´T, it doesn´t exist that option!

It would be great if all the Batch Convert effects are in the Filter tab and not in Batch Convert, if all the Batch Convert effects are moved to the Filter tab, all bugs are fixed IMMEDIATELY!

now i can´t use XnView MP for that!... i hope Pierre move the effects to the Filter Tab, all bugs are fixed immediately!... it would be much better and much more comfortable to work!

That is unfortunate, but you should if you haven't already done so request that those effects be added to the edit menu: Pierre can be expected to agree that to be desirable, and might make adding them a fairly high priority...

But Batch convert is designed to convert multiple images with an interface to suit that: it is true that it can also be used to convert single images. But adding what would be a new option to enable single images converted when Convert is pressed using a save menu would be expected to be a very low priority when, usually, the same effect can be achieved directly using the editor menus.

Don't forget that Pierre has developed all xnview software, and his priority now is making XnView MP even better in ways that are widely useful.

if pierre really wants XnView MP to be much better, I think moving all the Batch Convert effects to the Filter tab would be the most appropriate and correct option, that way you can work much more comfortably and also make all the processes much faster

and... all the bugs that occur in Batch Convert, are fixed instantly by moving all Batch Convert effects to the filter tab. and the workflow would be fast and more enjoyable

unfortunately all the effects i use are all in batch convert, from the bottom of my heart i hope pierre will add all those effects to the filter tab, i think is the best choice!

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.4.3. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

Effects added with Effect dialog (it works very very well) AMAZING!
