3D Border Effect issue

Hello Every1
when i make a selection and i want to use the 3D border effect, it doesn't apply the effect to the selection, it applies the effect to the whole image, that's a bug
i use a lot this effect

in what app?
I do not see border effect can be applied to the selection in acdsee, irfanview or faststone
However, this feature request is quite interesting.
Not sure how it will work with round and free-form selection if Pierre decides to add them one day.

irfanView has that option, and i use it almost everyday, I make a selection and irfanView applies the effect to that selection
XNView MP has that option as well,
BUT the effect does not apply to the selection, it applies to the entire image,
and that´s the bug

This problem is supposed to be fixed in
XnView MP 1.4.4. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
