Regarding the Country Code selector in the IPTC Editor.

Seeing as how 99% or more of the images that most of us will add a Country Code to will be in a single country, it sure would be nice if we had the ability to choose the country code once and for all and set it as our default country code that will never change unless we ourselves change it.

It is an eye straining time consuming chore to have to repeatedly scroll through the many choices and choose the correct Country Code.

Or let us choose our country and it stay the chosen country, like a permanent option.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.5.0 beta. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

I checked this in 1-5-0 beta 1 and could see no difference than in the behavior of all previous versions - unless there is something I am not seeing or doing right.

UPDATE: I just now checked this in beta 4 and can not see any difference - am I missing something ?

you can change in xnview.ini [iptc] ccode= for default
