Hi, i want to report a bug of latest version of xnview mp (1.4.3) with windows 10:
"Showinfo" not work when open image from explorer from second time

my settings :

general=> mode when starting with a file : "viewer-fullscreen"
general=> allow only one instance
view=> info=>"always show in fullscreen" ticked
view=> fullscreen=> "show info" ticked

how to reproduce :
-open image in xnviewmp in the first time : "show info" work
-leave xnview mp open, switch to window explorer and open another image (image should open in fullscreen mode) => " show info" not work , there is no info show (while info expected to be shown)
(for more clearly, bug only appears when open image in 2nd time in explorer and onwards)

i can't reproduce. What do you have in Interface>Tab settings?

it looks like xnviewmp writes (some?) settings to .ini file on close only, so your new instance uses unchanged .ini

here 's mine :

also when i encounter the issue (info not show), if i press f11 to switch to window mode then press f11 again, the info got show again
i also include the settings of info tab : my info settings is custom, like you see in the image : {Directory}{Filename}***{Size}

i think not because i set the info settings and close already logn time ago, and now i still can reproduce the issue

on Windows 10, with your .ini, i follow the steps but info is always here on second tab

do you mean second time? because with my settings, there is only 1 tab allowed

if i open another image second time while xnviewmp not in fullscreen mode, the info still shows,
with me the info only disappear when i open second image while xnviewmp still in fullscreen

here 's some additional detailed info
step1 : when i open image on the first time, it opened in fullscreen, and info show
step2 : then i use windows + d to show desktop (leave xnviewmp open) , then open image by windows explorer
=> it should open in fullscreen and the info not show

but if in step 1, if i open the image not in fullscreen mode,or change to window mode, then open another image, the info still shows (like i said above)

i reproduce now...

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.4.5. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
