If i select filter "All" and switch folder filter goes back to "Custom".



Clarification, only menu option always shows "Custom", currently applied filter is still the one you select so XnView MP is still filtering by filter "All".

Same problem regardless you change filter in Filelist toolbar or in View > Filter By


P.S. Pressing filter yellow funnel icon on Filelist toolbar scrolls up the thumbnails window, whats the purpose of this?

Custom is used when you have made a custom sort in the folder, (.XnViewSort file)

what sort order has to do with filter?

Sorry. When a .XnViewSort exists, 'Sort By' go to Custom but not Filter.

yes but Filter is never changed when selecting a folder. In the new folder do you have .XnViewSort ?

When i reported this bug XnView MP was not updating file Filter menu to currently selected one, always highlighted "Custom" option, even though another file filter was applied. However now it started working again, i keep monitoring this and see if happens again.

Don't have no .XnViewSort on in folder where i see problem with file filter.

I am not following .XnVewSort is about sort order, how is it related to file filter?
