your image file has transparency, it's the same with 32bits image file

hm, why not like this?
- a (default settings)
- actual - transparency bleeding through mask
- b ("use mask as alpha" enabled)
- actual - transparency lost
- expected - transparency preserved

This problem is supposed to be fixed in
XnView MP 1.5.0 beta. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
