Draw - text
text jumps bottom-right on cursor move

To reproduce:
1. open any image in Draw
2. select 'Add text' tool
- add some text
- click on image to place text and hold mouse button

issue A
center of cursor does not match red dashed selection rectangular

issue B
3. move mouse in any direction (blue arrow)
text will jump from its original position to bottom-right direction

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.5.0 beta. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

A - still remain, but I think its not a bug
B - fixed, but there are related issues below

To reproduce:
1. run clean portable XnViewMP
2. open any image in Draw
3. select Text tool
4. click ~30 times while moving cursor over image (in order to insert default text multiple times)

issue C
- sometimes (1 out of 5) text still appears in top-left corner for a split of the second

issue D1
5. close Draw dialog
app will crash

issue D2
5. click Undo button to remove all Text
- all text will be removed
- toolbar: selection will move from Text tool to Selection Tool
6. click on image (toolbar: Selection is selected)
- toolbar: Text tool will be selected
- text will be pasted
app will crash

yes it's normal behavior.

its OK that focus jumps to Selection tool when you Undo till the start,
its not OK that when you click on image - Text tool will be activated and text will be pasted
Selection tool shall be active one


Another related issue:
- add 3 lines (it can be any tool)
- press Undo once
toolbar: focus will move from Line to Selection Tool
- click on image
Line tool will be activated and line pasted on image

its a bug because if you press Redo - Line tool will be activated,
that means app remembers selected tool at each step, and there is no reason to shift focus to Selection while doing Undo

all fixed in 1.5.0b2
