Hello everyone,
i have a bunch of jpg files name.jpg. I would like to turn these all into a PDF, one image per page if I choose, but I need to be able to match the file names.
Is there a way to bring the file names, for example, as a watermark on the jpg?
alternatively
Is there a way to convert the jpg into a PDF with the file name as a subtitle?

Hallo zusammen,
Micha

you can process first your files with batch convert to add watermark and then create the PDF

The Watermark action applies the
same watermark to all files...
I understand the requirement to be to apply a different watermark filename.jpg to each input file?
alternatively, Is there a way to convert the jpg into a PDF with the file name as a subtitle?
I think there is a way to batch add the filename of each input file as text on (or possibly better below) each image?
I think there are threads that discuss using the Text action for that.

Hello cday,
thanks for your response.
Yes correct, i need the filename as watermark from each file.
i haven´t fund a solution for this in the forum.
you mean a batch is possible for 123.jpg -> watermark 123.jpg 456.jpg -> watermark 456.jpg ?
greetings

I don't see an easy way to do that: I think you would first have to create a watermark image for each file, and then apply each watermark individually to the related image. 'Batch convert' can only apply the
same image to multiple files.
Creating a watermark image for each file could however probably be batched using the 'Text' action to write the filename onto multiple copies of a blank transparent image. After creating individual images you could then create a multipage PDF file using the XnView MP browser 'Create - Multipage file' option.
An easier solution might be to to use the Batch convert 'Text' action to write the filename of each image onto each image, which should be reasonably easy after some experimentation. If only the filename text is required the result would actually be the same as applying a watermark. Alternatively, the filename could be written onto new blank canvas below the image added using the 'Canvas resize' option.
Always test on
copies of files...
