Cannot open GPS location

XnViewMP 1.50 beta 3 cannot open the GPS location of the attached image.
Other viewers, e.g. Apples Preview.app, are able to properly show the GPS location of the same image.

It's fine now with the AVIF image in the first posting of this thread. Thank you very much!
BUT: It still doesn't work with the PNG image attached here to this posting:

Not true. There is GPS information, and other viewers are able to show it. It's even shown in XnViewMP's own ExifTool properties, see attached screenshot.

the GPS datas are in XMP, currently only GPS in EXIF are supported

That is very unfortunate. Such files are not a particularly special case.
Steps to get such a file:
1. Open any image (that has GPS in EXIF) in Adobe Photoshop Elements on Mac.
2. Save the file in PNG format.
Adobe Photoshop Elements is one of the most widely used image editing programs. And it does generate such files.
