1.5.2 Newly assigned shortcut is not working when reusing shortcuts

I have assigned ctrl-I to "select all images" after disabling it for the function "edit IPTC". I had selected "none" for the latter function before that.
But it actually doesn't work for the new function. Nothing happens. (ctrl-I assigned to "select all images")
It shows in the menu with the new shortcut. The menu function does work but not the shortcut itself.
When I assign a different shortcut (which was not in use like Alt-A) it worked. Then I assigned ctrl-I again and now it worked.
But it repeats if I assign another shortcut which had just been disabled (like F7 for creating a new folder). Not working although menu and settings confirms it being F7. Just entering and assigning it again doesn't work either.
