Previous/Next Buttons in mounted networkshares not working
Posted: Sat Sep 23, 2023 10:37 pm
Hello,
i'm a manjaro linux user and have a problem with a XnView MP function.
i have a networkshare mounted with nfs to /mnt/multimedia/
when i open a picture inside a folder from this mounted share, i cant use the previous/next buttons/function
same problem is for smb mounted shares
smb://ubuntuserver/multimedia/
previous/next buttons/function is not working
(of corse there are more then one picture in the mounted folders
)
if i open a picture from my root drive, the buttons/function is working.
any workaround for this or some settings i miss ?
thank you
Edit 1: my /mnt is not shown in XnView
installed via flatpak, looks like the same problem like this -> viewtopic.php?p=176248#p176248
But i have no idea where to add the --filesystem parameter or make "the one checkbox on"
Edit 2: Okay, found a solution for the mounted nfs files. indeed, the flatpak app is preventing access to /mnt
i installed flatseal and added the /mnt folder to the allowed folders the buttons are now working for the nfs mounts
smb path is still not working, working on this now
Edit 3: And found the answer to my smb problem -> not supported

Thats all, "marked" as solved
