1.5.5 - edit GPS Data - delete original file does not work!

XnView MP 1.5.5 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 64bit
When I edit the GPS data, the original files are not deleted, there are .jpg_original left.

Check if jpg files (or folder) are write-protected ?

File and folder are not write protected. I also tested it in different folders and drives.

Same problem, but this is an old problem. Or "feature".
By now I'm used to deleting duplicate files after entering the GPS coordinates.
