Edit XMP many fields are not saving

Inside
Metadata > Edit XMP window many fields are not saving.
Keywords tab is broken, not saving keywords, keywords not add with hierarchy if use | character.
Origin tab following fields marked red are not saving.
However it does save to image metadata, its just this fields not show afterwards in XnViewMP and don't load if using

tab - no fields are saving.
IPTC Extensions tab following fields marked red are not saving.
XMP FWC tab - no fields are saving.
Options tab
Mode drop-down makes no difference, both XMP & IPTC are written regardless of selection.

i can't reproduce. Please send me the ARW file with .xmp companion used?

There is no XMP companion XnViewMP writes straight to the .arw file regardless of options i select.

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce
the problem.
[IPTC:Other] Urgency
I use ExifTool to update RAW, but it updates only IPTC not XMP datas...
IPTC Extensions tab following fields marked red are not saving.
XMP FWC tab - no fields are saving.
These fields are not supported by ExifTool

I don't understand what you mean.
Regarding
Origin tab fields i said are missing are
written inside .arw file, however they are not displaying when i open back
Metadata > Edit XMP
They saved to this fields inside .arw file
and displayed in Info panel IPTC tab.
which is fine with me i just want to see them displayed when i go back to
Metadata > Edit XMP.

I tested both options and it just writes both XMP & IPTC fields into ARW file regardless of selected option.

ExifTool seems to update only IPTC/Urgency and not XMP:Urgency
Also please note Options tab Mode drop-down makes no difference, is it supposed to create .xmp sidecar when "XMP" option selected?
No, it's to sync between IPTC and XMP metadatas (XMP can be embedded or external .xmp)

This problem is supposed to be fixed in
XnView MP 1.6.0. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
