1.6.4 - Linux version - Can't customize toolbar icon pic, move floated panels

1.6.4 - Linux version
1. Can't customize toolbar icon pic
- After adding the new "Text label" button, only the ICO extension was visible and was still unable to be assigned to the new button.
2. Can't move floated panels.
- Floated panels, ex. Curve or Adjust panel, are fixed to the main window and, unlike the Windows version, can't be moved freely out of it.

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce
the problem.
2. Can't move floated panels.

you means that you can't move the toolbar?

it's not XnView, on my desktop, i can move them. Check your configuration of desktop

On Windows, it automatically works, but not for the Linux version.
Can you please hint at where or which parameters I need to set?

Sorry but i don't know, it depends to the desktop used

Which distro are you using?
Mine is Ubuntu 23.10 .

This problem is supposed to be fixed in
XnView MP 1.6.5. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
