• After adding the new "Text label" button, only the ICO extension was visible and was still unable to be assigned to the new button.

2. Can't move floated panels.

• Floated panels, ex. Curve or Adjust panel, are fixed to the main window and, unlike the Windows version, can't be moved freely out of it.

right, Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

it's not XnView, on my desktop, i can move them. Check your configuration of desktop

On Windows, it automatically works, but not for the Linux version.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.6.5. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
