XnView MP doesn't treat all DWG files consistently

XnView MP 1.6.4 on Windows 11
I have a small collection of simple DWG drawings in a folder and XnView MP doesn't treat them all the same. When the "All" filter is enabled, some are shown as thumbnails while others have the associated app's icon (QCAD). Although QCAD created these files, they're standard AutoCAD formats.
If I enable the "Images (+Folders)" filter (my preferred filter) the files with the QCAD icons disappear.
The drawings are a mixture of ACAD version formats: R11/R12, R24 (ACAD 2010), R27 (ACAD 2013) and R32 (ACAD 2018). However, the "show / doesn't show" behavior isn't consistent with the ACAD versions. For example, here's a list of the files and XnView's treatment of them:
Whether XnView shows or doesn't show them is mixed even within the same version. I can provide a couple of sample files if desired.
