XnViewMP 1.8.0 64bit
Windows11 (23H2), display resolution 3840x2160, win scaling 150%

Viewer / Batch convert - change color depth

To reproduce:
0. clean portable version
1. open test image (8bpp, palleted, yellow color is transparent) in Viewer
transp_8_indexed.png
transp_8_indexed.png (170 Bytes) Viewed 587 times
2. goto Change color depth
- select 24bit, any color (eg black)
- press OK
image will be converted to 32bit (transparency preserved)

expected result
image to be converted to 24bit, if index color is transparent - use color from "Change color depth"
if user wants to preserve transparency - 32bit has to be selected manually
