XnViewMP 1.8.6 64bit Libformat 7.204

So my folders usually contain a mix of images/video. I scroll through them using mouse wheel and and exit program.
Sometimes when I exit xnviewmp, it seems to be locking access to the folder as moving the folder allows moving the files but fails to move/delete the source folder. This seems to mainly happen in folders with video, but not always.
Task Manager shows the task is removed from the "Apps" but stays as a "Background Process" until I manually "End Task". After which folder access is restored.

Is there a setting for this or is this a bug?

you have XnView as background process?

No, I run the program as normal. It appears in Task manager as an "Apps". When it exits normally it is removed from apps and terminates correctly. Sometimes exiting removes the process from "Apps" but it becomes/remains a "background process".

EDIT: (I am able to somewhat reproduce the issue.)

1. Open folder with 1 image + 1 video.
2. Double click image to start xnviewmp.
3. Click "X" to end program. (Removed from "Apps", No background process)

Is there anyway to disable xnview's interaction with videos? I only use it as an image viewer. I only scroll pass videos to see the other images.

you can disable video in Settings>View>Filter
