XnView Software

WIsh I knew the version number, but on my Mac the "about XnView" is grayed out and cannot be selected.
Anyways, it is the newest version. We are now in May 2025.

Updated to the new version, and suddenly now many of the 4 thumbnails on folders are smaller. In some cases all 4 are small. In other cases all 4 are big. And in some cases they are both small and big.

What could be the reason for this?
I did not have any issues with this earlier.

And when are you coming with generation of folder thumbnails from video files? Please consider it.

by default, embedded thumbnail is used, so you can disable 'Settings>Thumbnail>Use embedded thumbnail'

Embedded gone, thumbs large again. Sweet.
So, why embedded by default? Maybe just change that?
