it only possible in manage Albums via 'Catalog filter' pane, which is inconvenient

Suggestion

• add UI controls for Album functionality
  to make it possible assigning Albums in the same way as Categories
  
  • add Albums pane
    similar to Categories pane
  • add Album group to Metadata menu in Toolbar and Context menu
    similar to 'Set Category' group

I support this as well.

An additional way to add images to Albums has been needed and requested for many years.

In fact, it was part of the original request for Albums 12 years ago.
