Why isn't it possible to use drop shadow with other backcolo

Why isn't it possible to use drop shadow with an other background color in thumbnail view?
And why I can't change the strange light brown color of image background text (because Videos for example do not have this problem) in thumbnail view?

currently work only with white...

You must disable color by file type

Do you think that you implement the drop shadow for custom colors - will be very nice
